They have three daughters and four granddaughters. All their daughters attended Valley Creek Elementary School, Faubion Middle School and McKinney High School and two have settled back in McKinney with their families.

Patrick owns Legacy Planning Group, a local financial planning firm, and Vonda has a booth in a downtown antique store. Both are active in local nonprofits and city government. Patrick serves as city councilman for McKinney District 2 and is a graduate of Leadership McKinney. Vonda is a former board member for Volunteer

McKinney.

During their spare time, you can find them with their grandchildren who are spread across town from Tucker Hill to the historic district.
